Introduction to Aboriginal
culture and language

Our mission

La Petite Ecole Perth offers unique bilingual French/English educational programs that are engaging, stimulating and adapted to the interests and needs of all children. It is intended to foster an eagerness and excitement to go to school in each young child, and to encourage them to expand their learning , while affirming and developing their personality, and their oral language in several languages and cultures.  Our children discover the written word, numbers and other intellectual, cultural and social areas of learning, by playing, by thinking and by solving problems, practicing, remembering and memorizing.  La Petite Ecole Perth provides pathways to integration: the goal is for each student to acquire the necessary language skills (French and English) to succeed while respecting their individual developmental needs.  These pathways are based on the French Ministry of Education's preschool programs, the principles of the EYLF (The Early Years Learning Framework) and the Australian National Quality Framework. They also provide an introduction to Aboriginal culture and language.
